The climate is exceptional in spring and autumn. The roads are quiet with tarmac that many WorldTour teams envy. Rocacorba — a classic among the pros — is 40 minutes pedalling from the door. Les Gavarres offers more technical routes towards the Costa Brava.

And at the end of the day, the Barri Vell is waiting with restaurants, terraces and the pleasure of walking through a car-free medieval city. Girona is one of those places that makes you want to come back every season.
